    Since 2011, we have been turning regular bowling lanes into fun immersive experiences. With projection mapping technology, our system displays amazing visuals on the lanes, tracks every ball thrown in real time and allows bowlers to customize their experience from their phones. How It Works

Multi-Projector Setup (3P or 4P Systems)

Unreal Bowling is a cutting edge interactive bowling system that uses advanced technology in conjunction with traditional bowling lanes. The system converts standard bowling alleys into interactive and engaging experiences by combining sophisticated projection mapping and real time ball tracking technology. 


The system is intended to operate with either 2 or 4 lanes at once, utilizing 3-4 high resolution projectors per lane set. A central PC manages all projectors and coordinates the visual experience, which is the heart of the system. The efficiency of this setup is that one sensor can monitor up to 4 lanes at the same time, recording the precise movement of every ball.

Real-Time Synchronization

What makes it so impressive is that it is real time. Sensors go on as bowlers play, tracking the position and speed of each ball. The backend computer instantly processes this information, then coordinates all the projectors to produce synchronized visual effects. The result is a responsive, seamless experience where you get immediate animation upon every throw — a more engaging experience that allows every frame of bowling to be more interactive.

With each throw the ball invokes dynamic animations that are responsive to the ball's movement enriching the experience of the traditional bowling game. The system’s ability to synchronize multiple projectors means that the visuals flow across all the lane in a smooth and professional looking way that reacts naturally to the game in progress.

Lane Control & Scheduling

The admin panel of our Unreal Bowling system provides bowling center operators with complete control over their interactive lanes. Operators can utilize this central management interface to automate system operation times and player access to customization features, all while making sure the system operates smoothly during business hours.

Playlists & Content Selection

The flexible content management is one of the key features of the system. Operators can build and control playlists of backgrounds and animations that will automatically cycle during normal bowling sessions or special events. Granular control is offered, allowing different content to be assigned to a single lane, or to all lanes at once. This versatility allows for thematic consistency when necessary, but helps to keep visual variety.

Customization & Ads

It is also a powerful marketing tool that doubles as an admin panel. Private events can have sponsors or branded content uploaded as custom backgrounds by operators. This feature turns the bowling lanes into dynamic advertising space with new revenue streams. The system also features seasonal themes and promotions for special events which you can use to encourage customer interaction and pump business up during specific times of the year.

Unreal Bowling Mobile App integration turns each game into a social interactive event where players can choose background, trigger celebration animation and share their memorable moments.
Scan & Connect

The mobile experience of Unreal Bowling is seamless and starts with a simple connection process. Bowlers can quickly access the system by either scanning a QR code at their lane or clicking a link provided to them. This simple approach allows players to immediately begin personalizing their experience.

Lane Personalization
The lane customization is put directly into the bowlers' hands with the mobile app. Players can access an extensive library of backgrounds, and animations through their own smartphones to create their own unique bowling environment. We designed the system with an intuitive interface that allows players to switch themes in the middle of an active game without stopping play.
On-Demand Interaction

The app adds interactive celebration features to the social aspect of bowling. In addition to the extra excitement that comes when players get strikes or spares, players can pick out special animations to play when they achieve success. Beyond the lanes, the system invites players to capture and share their customized bowling experience in photos and videos as part of this social engagement. These features make traditional bowling more interesting, and shareable.
